GDF Suez and Marubeni have chartered the floating storage and Regasification Unit for their LNG terminal project in Uruguay. The ship has a storage capacity of 263,000 m3 and it will regasify up to 10M m3/d of natural gas. Terminal´s developer Gas Sayago, a joint venture between Uruguay´s state oil and electric energy companies, ANCAP and UTE, has published the tender documents for the contract to oversee civil works of the terminal.
