With the consent of ANCAP, British Gas (BG) made a partial transfer of their rights (50%) in block 13 offshore, in favor of Total,Exxon and Statoil.
Our Firm advised Statoil on this acquisition of a fair share of interest, now in block 13 for offshore oil exploration. This operation has the characteristic of being the first that brings together four multinational companies in the sector in a single project.
The president of ANCAP, Ing. Marta Jara, the Minister of Industry, Ing. Carolina Cosse and other public authorities as well as representatives of the four companies that entered into the agreement, including partner Hector Ferreira representing Statoil, where present at the approval of the deal.
